General Information
College Entrance Exams
The ACT and SAT are college entrance exams. Both are accepted at every single public college/university in the US and the tests are very different, so students should plan to take both in case they do much better on one than the other. The ACT is an achievement test (tests what the student has learned) and the SAT is an aptitude test (tests the student’s reasoning ability).
